As a Doctor of Nursing Practice, Family Nurse Practitioner, Certified Professional Life Coach, educator, author, and United States Army veteran, Amanda has witnessed firsthand the impact that support, practical tools, and the right knowledge can have on healthcare professionals and the communities they serve.

Dr. Conyers is the heart and vision behind Scrubs & Scholars. Her 24+ years in nursing, serving as a Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Leader, Wound Care Professional, Certified Professional Life Coach, Educator, Caregiver, and Mentor, have instilled a deep belief in the power of accessible education. Her journey began with a simple but powerful passion for helping others—a passion that grew as she witnessed the daily challenges healthcare professionals face.
Guided by her experiences as a United States Army Veteran and Black business owner, she has created a supportive and inclusive environment where learners can thrive. Dr. Conyers leads with warmth, dedication, and a hands-on approach to teaching and professional development. Her drive to enrich the healthcare community is reflected in every course, resource, and tool Scrubs & Scholars provides, making quality education accessible to those who care for others while encouraging confidence, leadership, and lifelong growth.
